What is AFCOMP^TM Resin?

AFCOMPTM‘s heat resistance, dimensional precision, chemical resistance, formability, and electrical and tribological properties, means that it has of good affinity with various types of fillers. Our Conpany produces various unique compounds, including fluororesins, carbon fibers, mineral fillers, and additives. We can also custom develop/manufacture products according to customers’ specific requirements.

[ Properties of AFCOMP^TM ]

• Mechanical Properties
  AFCOMP^TM has high strength and rigidity (which only diminishes minimally under high temperatures) as well as high creep and fatigue resistance.
• Dimensional Stability
  AFCOMP^TM has a low linear expansion coefficient and molding shrinkage ratio as well as low absorption, giving the product dimensional stability even in high temperatures.
  * Crystalline Resin (Tg88℃ Crystallization degree of saturation is roughly 60%)
• Heat Resistance
  Thermal deformation temperature is over 260℃, with excellent soldering resistance.
• Chemical Resistance
  Chemical resistance is comparable to Fluororesin (PTFE, PFA etc.) and has durability to chemicals (solvents) under temperatures of 200℃.
• Electrical Properties
  AFCOMP^TM demonstrates exceptional electrical properties even under high temperature, high humidity, and high frequency environments.
• Flame Resistant
  AFCOMP^TM has the excellent self-extinguishing properties and is at UL94V-0 grade even without flame retardant additives.
  *Partially V-1 Grade
• Safety
  AFCOMP^TM is a chemically stable substance with minimal impact on human health.

1.General-Purpose PPS Series

The General-Purpose Series is PPS resin material excellent in formability and has high mechanical strength, heat resistance, chemical resistance. Main applications are taking advantage of this feature, making it suitable for automotive parts, electrical and electronic, and chemical equipment.

2.Precision PPS Series

Our Precision Series is suitable for precision parts, which require higher dimensional accuracy than what is given in the General-Purpose Series.Its properties also include minimal anisotropy during molding.

3.Sliding PPS Series

The Sliding Series of PPS resin has a low abrasion coefficient as well as low friction and wear, and is therefore suitable for application in moving parts such as gears and bearings.The Sliding PPS is customized for reducing friction and has been used in many gears and bearings.
